The 2010 History of Hawai‘i Calendar

The Hawaiian Historical Society is pleased to present its annual History of Hawai‘i Calendar for 2010. The theme of the 2010 calendar is traveling in Hawai‘i. The photographs depict modes of transportation in Hawai‘i up to the 1930s. The calendar includes significant dates and interesting facts in Hawai‘i’s history relating to the ali‘i, natural, social, and political events, and firsts in Hawai‘i. It also includes holidays and events of local importance such as Prince Kūhiō Day and the Merrie Monarch Festival.

The featured images in the 2010 calendar are reproduced from the Society’s collection of approximately ten thousand images. The photographs are available for purchase as scanned images. For more information, contact the Society office by phone or mail or send e-mail to hhsbarb@lava.net.

The Hawaiian Historical Society 2010 calendar is available directly from the Society for $8.00 (plus $3.00 postage) and will also be available at Native Books, Best Sellers, Bookends, and Bishop Museum Shop Pacifica. The retail price is $10.00. The calendar is available for wholesale and bulk purchases for $5.00 each.
