The theme of the 2009 Hawaiian history calendar is antique roads of Hawai'i. Historic roads and bridges are significant features in the cultural landscape of the Islands. The calendar includes images from the Hawaiian Historical Society collections by Tai Sing Loo, J.J. Williams, Ray Jerome Baker, Joaquin A. Gonsalves, and L.E. Edgeworth as well others whose photographers are unknown.
